KANYE WEST'S "JESUS IS KING" ALBUM HEAVILY CRITICIZED BY CHRISTIANS.

Kanye West's explosive and very public embrace of Christianity has finally come to a head with anticipation building around his upcoming gospel album, 'Jesus is King.'

But not all Christians believe 'Yeezus' is sincerely practicing what he preaches.

This album is his most vocal proclamation of his faith yet, but it's conception has been foreshadowed for years.

In 2004, West's debut album 'College Dropout' featured a song titled 'Jesus Walks' that showed him asking for guidance.

'God show me the way because the Devil's tryna break me down And I don't think there's nothin' I can do now to right my wrongs.  I wanna talk to God but I'm afraid 'cause we ain't spoke in so long'

Two years later he outraged some fans when he posed for a Rolling Stone's cover named 'The Passion of Kanye.'
The photo showed him dressed as Jesus, complete with a crown of thorns, and drew complaints it was blasphemous.

At the time, the photographer David LaChapelle told Rolling Stone: 'I wanted to make it look exactly like the DVD cover of The Passion of the Christ right down to the individual thorns.'

In 2006, Kanye West garnered mixed reviews from fans after he posed for Rolling Stone Magazine (pictured) as Jesus.

In 2013, West dropped his controversial platinum album 'Yeezus' that notably played off the name 'Jesus.'
The album included a song titled 'I Am a God' with similar lyrics: 'I am a God.  Even though I'm a man of God.  My whole life in the hands of God.  So y'all better quit playing with God. '

Back in present time, West's 'Jesus is King' album is charming to longtime fans who have posted about their enthusiasm across social media.

 To others, it's alienating.

68-year-old Christian Kaleina told NY Post people ridicule her faith, 'because of the strange and weird behavior of people like this man.'

'He may be trying to understand Jesus in his own limited way and we cannot judge another’s soul.  People who follow Christ sense something is not right with this scene. '

On Friday, 'Jesus is King' was trending on Twitter and between the fanfare were pockets of Christian's who found the music venture sacrilegious.

Some Christian Twitter users called out West's use of religion in his music, calling him a 'self-proclaimed god' (pictured)

One user wrote: 'Jesus is King is trending on Twitter except no one is talking about Jesus of Nazareth, the savior of the world & son of the living God who created heaven and earth.'

'They're talking about the self-proclaimed god Kanye West who is a mere man ..'

Another wrote: 'Yes. He preaches "Yeezus" in order to mu$ic.'

One woman pointed out the alleged hypocrisy between West's Christianity and past descriptions of women.
'The way he talks about women in his other/recent albums, I’m skeptical he knows the gospel. I am much more willing to believe Chance is born again than Kanye.'

One man simply summarized: 'Kanye West isn't a Christian.'

Flack against West's Christianity has been on the rise as of late with his now infamous Sunday Service.

Pictures and videos of West's concert like services, full of an ever present choir and service goers watching his every move, have circulated across media since the weekly event began.
Changing lights and an ensemble dressed near identical to West have become staples in the worship, but Kim has explained the service is more 'healing' than religious.
Kanye Sunday Service covers Nirvana song with gospel rendition.

Kim Kardashian: 'There’s no praying, there’s no sermon, no word, just music, and just a feeling - and it’s Christian'

Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian told Jimmy Kimmel: 'There’s no praying, there’s no sermon, no word, just music, and just a feeling - and it’s Christian.'

'Everyone that comes understands it’s just a really healing experience with an amazing choir, and amazing messages about love to start off your week ,;

Khloe echoed Kim's sentiments, saying: 'We have so many friends who maybe feel too judgmental when they go to church or something.

'When they come here, they feel free and safe, is what everyone says.'

Celebrities like Brad Pitt, Jaden Smith, Justin Bieber and even rapper DMX, who delivered a prayer at one service, have all made appearances.

It's clear this invite-only Sunday Service caters to a certain, high profile crowd - but some Christian's think that's the problem.

Columnist Tobi Oredein of Premier Christianity said in a recent article: 'My major issue with Kanye's Sunday Services is that they appear to be exclusive clubs for the rich and famous.

'The average person can't visit - instead we're kept at arms length merely watching on screens.  A church - or any gathering led in Christ's name - should be open to everyone. '

She also said the Sunday Service extolled his own music and brand.

'As I watched these Sunday Services, I also wondered who was being glorified,' she said.

'He's employing a choir of people who are not only singing his songs, but are all dressed in his apparel.  Is Christ really at the center of this gathering?  I'm not sure he is. '

Staying true to himself, West has continued to forge his own vision by having listening sessions for his new album in Chicago on Saturday and New York on Sunday.

He was also in Detroit on Friday where he teased a new movie and 'Jesus is King' for excited fans.

NAMIBIA VOWS TO GRAB FARMS FROM WHITE FARMERS.

Okahandja, NAMIBIA: Vibrant rows of neatly lined plants grow on a patch once trampled by the cattle of a large commercial farm run by a family of German descent in Namibia. From that 2,400 square-meter rectangle of sand in the northern Otjozondjupa region, Kornelius Hamasab, 69, now produces spinach, onions and tomatoes. Hamasab is among the 16 percent of black Namibians owning arable land in the semi-desert southwest African nation. White Namibians, who are descended from former colonizers Germany and South Africa and make up six percent of the population, own 70 percent of the land. "It doesn't seem right to me,"  said Hamasab, who acquired his land as compensation five years after the farm downsized into a guesthouse in 2000 and laid off its staff. ALBERT EINSTEIN'S PRIVATE DIARIES REVEAL HIS RACIST VIEWS.

Newly translated into English, Albert Einstein’s private travel diaries from the 1920s reveal that he was racist in his early life, especially toward Chinese people. The diaries were written between October 1922 and March 1923. In one entry Einstein wrote that the  “Chinese don’t sit on benches while eating but squat like Europeans do when they relieve themselves out in the leafy woods. All this occurs quietly and demurely. Even the children are spiritless and look obtuse.” Speaking about the “abundance of offspring” and the “fecundity” of the Chinese, he continued: “It would be a pity if these Chinese supplant all other races. For the likes of us the mere thought is unspeakably dreary.” Einstein also derided the people of Ceylon, which is now known as Sri Lanka. In Ceylon, he wrote, the locals “live in great filth and considerable stench at ground level,” before adding they “do little and need little. The simple economic cycle of life.” Einstein also gave his thou...

MINERS IN NAMIBIA DISCOVER SHIPWRECK LOADED $13 MILLION WORTH OF GOLD.

Image: Dieter Noli. Diamond miners working off the coast of Africa were beyond surprised when they discovered a 500-year-old shipwreck teeming with gold worth $13 million and other treasures. The ship, aptly named ‘Bom Jesus’ or ‘Good Jesus,’ was like a miracle to the miners. Bom Jesus was first identified and discovered by geologists working for the mining company De Beers in 2008. It was found off the coast of Namibia near Oranjemund. Image: Dieter Noli. According to experts, Bom Jesus is from the Golden era of Portuguese explorers who set sail in all directions in search of new lands to colonize. The ship left Lisbon in 1533 under the supervision of Sir Francisco de Noronha. But on its way to India, it mysteriously vanished. Before the discovery, the miners were draining an artificial salt lake. As the lake dried out, many lost ships were found at the bottom of the lake. Bom Jesus was among them, and it is considered the oldest of all ...

WHY CHINA'S DOG-MEAT MARKET HAS EXPANDED.

Every year during the summer solstice, a dog-eating festival takes place in Yulin, a city in the southern Chinese province of Guangxi. This year’s event ended with the usual controversy. Photographs of dogs being fried or treated cruelly went viral.  The Jinhua Hutou Dog Meat Festival, as it is called, was abruptly canceled last week. Animal-rights activists and American congressmen demanded that China ban the eating of dogs and cats, as Taiwan did in April. Yulin’s local government took modest steps to restrain or hide some of the more contentious activities, such as selling dogs in food markets. Still, the festival was packed. Why has the controversial culinary habit become so popular in China? Contrary to cliché, dog meat has not always been a common item in the Chinese diet.  Unlike in the West, eating dogs has never been taboo, but it appears to have been rare in the past. Government accounts single out butchers who sold dog meat, suggesting it ...

In its draft policy unveiled by Lands Minister Jean Kapata, the government hopes to regulate access to land by non-Zambians. The state wants to restrict ownership of land, both state and customary to Zambians only. If the policy is adopted, it will only provide for sub-leasing and or renting of land only by non Zambians. This is the first comprehensive land policy framework since Zambia’s independence. To date, land policy was in form of Ministerial Statements in Parliament, Presidential pronouncements and the Administrative Circular No 1, 1985 that has guided the system of land allocation and the Lands ...
