MOHAMMED SALAH PRAISED FOR SAVING A HOMELESS MAN FROM YOBS.

A Liverpool city Homeless man, Daniel Craig has hailed Mohamed Salah a hero after the Liverpool forward ticked off a group of yobs harassing him shortly after beating Arsenal.

Mohamed Salah has been hailed a 'real-life hero' after stepping in to fend off yobs hassling a homeless man.

The Liverpool star spotted the altercation as he pulled into a petrol station.

The incident happened on September 28 - the same day the Reds beat Arsenal 3-1 in the Premier League at Anfield.

The gas station is near the Liverpool ground and is usually frequented by homeless man Daniel Craig.

It was here where a group of yobs started hassling the 50-year-old, taunting him over his living situation.

Salah had pulled up in his Bentley and witnessed what was going on.

The Egyptian got out of his car and gave the gang a scolding, telling them that they could be in the same situation.

It was enough to see the group disperse and at this point, Salah went to a cash machine to withdraw £100 for Mr Craig.

He told The Sun: “Mo was every bit as wonderful as he is for Liverpool on the pitch.

"He heard what a group of lads were saying to me, then turned to them and said, ‘That could be you in a few years’.

“I only knew I wasn’t hallucinating when Mo incredibly handed me £100. What a complete legend.”

The former labourer has been sleeping rough for six years and usually stays near where Anfield is situated.

The incident was caught on CCTV, and he added: "He saw what was happening and said something to them and then he went to the cash machine.

“Mo is a real-life hero in my eyes and I want to thank him.”

Salah's brilliant gesture comes as Liverpool look to retain the Premier League after winning the trophy for the first time in their history last season.

The Roma star is currently the club's top scorer with five in all competitions - including a brace in Liverpool's shock 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa.

Jurgen Klopp's men were humbled on Sunday after a hat-trick from Ollie Watkins, as well as goals from Jack Grealish, Ross Barkley and John McGinn.

Houston police are investigating an incident where a man was accidentally shot in the head in a car. Three people were inside the vehicle in a petrol station carpark around 2:30am after Easter Sunday.
