Manchester United got off to a winning start on their return to the Champions League by comfortably beating Swiss champions Basel.
But, despite the three points United boss Jose Mourinho was angry at full time accusing his players of relaxing too much after they went two goals up.
Marouane Fellaini put United ahead in the first half after he got on the end of an Ashley Young cross and Romelu Lukaku doubled United's lead shortly into the second half.
And it was after that Mourinho became animated on the touchline sending instructions to his players.
There were a number of stray passes as United looked to see the game out and Mourinho was less than impressed.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game he said: "We played quite well up until the 2-0. After that we forgot to play, we forgot to sing, we stopped to play seriously, we stopped to make the right decisions on the pitch. We could put ourselves in trouble but they didn't score."
"Bad decisions, fantasy football, PlayStation football, tricks and when you stop to play as a team and stop to play seriously I don't like it and you gamble a little bit."
"Probably the players felt the game was under control with 2-0 but football is football and you have to respect opponents."
United are top of group A on goal difference and Mourinho was asked if he was annoyed that his team did not push on for more goals.
He replied: "I don't know if the goal difference is going to play any part. The three points are the most important thing, I just felt that after 2-0 the decisions went completely in the wrong direction. We lost position, we lost our shape and lost too many balls in easy situations. I think the players relaxed too much and I didn't like it."
"But overall the performance was solid and three points are really important to us."
