A politician who filmed himself sitting in a mud puddle blowing a horn claiming it would protect from Covid-19 has tested positive for the virus.
Unsurprisingly, Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria's method of protection appears to have been unsuccessful, and he was one of 24 Indian MPs who have contracted the coronavirus, as reported by local media.
A month before he was diagnosed, he posted a strange video on his Facebook page. He could be seen sitting in a muddy field, blowing into a conch shell.
Speaking in Hindi, he said: "Go out, get wet in the rain, sit in the dirt, work on the farm, blow a conch... and eat 'desi' things. One gains immunity from doing these things."
Desi is a term that describes local and indigenous things.
The country has surpassed five million confirmed cases of the disease, with 97,894 being added on Wednesday - the biggest rise in one day yet.
Jaunapuria isn't the only denier to find out that coronavirus is very much real.
